ABOUT THE GFVC AFRICA COMMISSION

OVERVIEW

The Commission is a politically independent Institution of the Global Fashion Value Chain Federation of Africa and its constituent entities that make up the organization’s executive arm.

The objects for which the entire ecosystem infrastructure is established are to: address Africa’s under-development status; lack of strong independent development institutions and governance that has led to the challenges faced by the economy and left-behind communities (agriculture, manufacturing, mining; and creative); enhance NEPAD and AfCFTA' capacities to improve impact on aligned  Sustainable Development Goals - by decolonizing, protecting and building a highly competitive single GFVC economy that can achieve balanced economic growth and price stability, social progress, environmental protection, and economic freedom for all Africans across the socioeconomic strata.
