In pursuit of the aspirations stated in Article 3, GFVC Africa shall be guided by the following principles:​

 

​1. Sovereign Equality
GFVC Africa shall promote unity, stability, and socio-economic development among its members, recognizing the sovereign equality of all member states.
2. Sustainable Development
The organization shall prioritize sustainable development, growth, and quality of life for all members and communities, ensuring that all activities are environmentally sustainable and socially responsible.
3. Democratic Principles
GFVC Africa shall respect democratic principles, human rights, the rule of law, and good governance, promoting transparency, accountability, and participation in all decision-making processes.
4. Good Faith and Integrity
Members shall act in good faith, ensuring that every member receives rights and benefits from membership, and that all activities are conducted with integrity and transparency.

Operational Principles

GFVC Africa shall operate by the following principles:

1. Collaboration and Cooperation: The Commission shall collaborate with Regional Economic Clusters (RECs) to develop and implement coordinated goals and strategies, promoting cooperation and mutual benefit among all stakeholders.

2. Decolonization and Cultural Revival: The organization shall acknowledge the importance of decolonization and cultural revival in Africa's development, promoting the preservation and celebration of African cultures and heritage.

3. Social Justice: GFVC Africa shall promote social justice, ensuring inclusive economic development and wealth creation, and addressing the social and economic inequalities that exist among its member states.

4. Equality and Non-Discrimination: The organization shall condemn discrimination, promoting equality for all regardless of background, gender, or socio-economic status, and ensuring that all members have equal access to opportunities and benefits.

​Economic and Social Development

GFVC Africa shall prioritize economic and social development, promoting:

1. Economic Inclusion: Equal access to economic opportunities, resources, and benefits for all members.

2. Quality Education: Inclusive and equitable access to quality education for all, promoting lifelong learning and skills development.

3. Inclusive Education Systems: Development of inclusive education systems, engaging all learners equally and meeting the needs of persons with disabilities.

4. Leaving No One Behind: Addressing language and disability barriers, ensuring equal opportunities for all to participate in education and economic activities.

​Environmental Sustainability and Innovation

GFVC Africa shall prioritize environmental sustainability and innovation, promoting:

1. Environmental Sustainability: Eco-friendly practices, reducing waste and pollution, and promoting sustainable ecosystems.

2. Culture of Innovation: Encouraging experimentation, perseverance, and collaboration, promoting a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship.

4. Innovation and Technology: Encouraging innovation, technological advancement, and digital transformation to drive growth and competitiveness.

​Global Citizenship and Cooperation

GFVC Africa shall recognize its role as a global citizen, promoting:

2. Good Governance: Transparency, accountability, and effective implementation of public benefit activities.

GFVC Africa shall ensure accountability and transparency in all its operations, decisions, and actions, promoting:

3. Integrity and trust, penalizing violations that compromise the system.

Instillation of Principles and Partnerships

The Commission shall ensure that its principles and values are integrated into all aspects of its work, including:

1. Policy Development: Ensuring that all policies and strategies align with the Commission's principles and values.

2. Programme Implementation: Ensuring that all flagship programmes and projects are designed and implemented in accordance with the Commission's principles and values.

3. Partnerships and Collaborations: Partnering with organizations that share the principles and values of the GFVC AFRICA, and collaborating with stakeholders who demonstrate a commitment to these principles and values.

4. Civil Society Organizations: Partnering with civil society organizations that demonstrate a commitment to the Commission's principles and values.

5. Private Sector Entities: Partnering with private sector entities that share the Commission's commitment to sustainable development, social responsibility, and good governance.

Global Partnerships

GFVC Africa shall cooperate with international development organizations, promoting:

GFVC Africa shall ensure the effective implementation and monitoring of its principles, values, mission, and vision, including:

Dispute Resolution

GFVC Africa shall establish a dispute resolution mechanism to address any disputes or conflicts that may arise, including:

GFVC Africa shall review and amend its guiding principles as necessary, ensuring that they remain relevant and effective in achieving the organization's objectives.
