The business of the GFVC AFRICA shall be, to develop a single, smart manufacturing global fashion value chain economy:


  1. That represents interests of all industries in the value chain throughout Africa, benefits all internal and external stakeholders in Africa - with a bias towards opportunities that favor youth of all races, women of all races, rural and township black populations.

  2. That gives political voice to Youth, Women, Artisans and the "left behind" Agricultural, Mining and Manufacturing communities.

  3. That integrates and transforms the entire fragmented industry ecosystem for inclusive and sustainable industrialization, innovation, and business success.

  4. That harmonizes policy, legal and regulatory frameworks, and investment codes throughout the continent's fashion value chain; corrects previous trade imbalances and remove barriers to productivity and growth for all African players.

  5. That strengthens the means of implementation and revitalize global partnerships for sustainable development.

  6. That equips all Africans equally with high-end equipment and technical skills needed to participate in the mainstream economy, enhance their global competitiveness, contribute to sustainable economic growth and decent work for all.

  7. That drives and advances Research & Development in the value chain industries through open international partnerships with Universities and Research Institutions.

  8. That bridges gap between tertiary and markets with employable skills.

  9. That creates access to a single Global Knowledge, Trade, and Investments - a GFVC Market through its General Assembly, namely: SMART GFVC AFRICA SUMMIT to be inaugurated in 2022 and rotated annually to all eight (8) Regions to promote social cohesion and collaboration, and the Regions’ diverse Investment and Tourism opportunities.

  10. That creates on-demand future global African brands and quality Agro-Industrial development products through its partnership with SMART GFVC AFRICA’s FACTORIES & SMART TEXTILE VALLEYS to boost growth in local supplies demand and decent employment.

  11. That protects its labor community from exploitation, long work hours and ensures fair and equal pay throughout the chain.

  12. That improves and strengthens Copyright and Intellectual Property protection.

  13. That creates favorable market conditions to attract large scale investments and enable the creation of new sustainable industries.

  14. That promotes transparency, efficiency, and accountability across the value chain.

  15. That fosters global strategic relations with industry and international Governments to promote open and fair-trade markets for all.

  16. That drives and facilitates the integration of the 4th Industrial Revolution and circular economy concepts into the Continent's Fashion ecosystem development for sustainability and future disruptions.

  17. That boosts Africa's Smart Eco-Infrastructure development, Intra-Africa Trade, local job creation, municipal investments, growth to the local supply chain development, and Global manufacturing.

  18. That has its community's well-being, development, and growth at heart, and one that respects its ecological limits.
